GA Connection holds First Health Fair in Newark

GA Connection, a Newark-based nonprofit organization organized a Health Awareness Day at the Weequahic Park in Newark, New Jersey May 30th 2015. The health fair event was part of the organization’s community outreach program to create healthy practices within the community.  Over 300 people attended the event.
In partnership with Walgreens, Planned Parenthood Organization, Horizon Blue Cross Blue

Shield, and other health personnel, some basic health screening sure as blood pressure, diabetes and health tips were provided free of charge. There were also numerous giveaways provided by sponsors and partners.
A soccer gala tournament was organized to climax the vibrant event. Established in December 2013, GA Connection seeks to promote social and cultural education, while fostering leadership skills and unity within local, national, and international communities.
