Two Guantanamo Bay inmates transferred to Senegal: Pentagon

The Pentagon on Monday April 4 announced the transfer of two Libyan inmates from the Guantanamo Bay detention center to Senegal.
“The Department of Defense announced today the transfer of Salem Abdu Salam Ghereby and Omar Khalif Mohammed Abu Baker Mahjour Umar from the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay to the government of Senegal,” the Pentagon said in a statement.
The latest transfers mean the remaining population at the controversial jail is now 89.
